BRIDAL BESPOKE SERVICE

Ideally the following process will take between 6-12 months, although it has been known for dresses to be made in as little as 3 weeks!

At your first consultation, it is a good idea to bring along with you, cuttings from magazines and any items, which you find inspirational. Your measurements are taken and your chosen design will be made in to a toile (cotton mock-up of the design).

The toile will be fitted and any alterations to the fit and the design will be completed.  Any detail can be pinned or drawn on to the toile, so you get the absolute picture of what your gown will look like when it is completed, making it easier to make design decisions.

When you are completely happy with the design and fit of the gown, the pattern will then be adjusted according to the alterations of the toile, before the gown is cut in to the fabric of your choice.

The dress is then fitted in the fabric and any further alterations will be made to the fit.  This may involve one or two fittings.

When the dress is completed, any design detailing will be added and a final fitting will be completed.

You must bring along your bridal underwear and shoes to all fittings, so that the fit can be completed accurately.
